Menchaca works hard to integrate social emotional learning in our daily lives. Teachers use the Second Step curriculum to teach students self management strategies. We are also actively implementing strategies from Responsive Classrooms, such as Morning Meeting, Academic Choice, Interactive Modeling, and Effective Teacher Langauge. All classrooms engage in various mindfulness strategies.
