Dear parents/guardians of current 2nd graders,
We are excited to announce that we are holding our first ever Summer 2nd Grade Lit Camp. This camp is intended for students who need extra support in literacy. Attending students will be immersed in a fun and engaging curriculum designed to help them accelerate in their literacy skills. Please see below for important program information.
- Location: Kocurek Elementary
- Dates: Monday-Thursday, June 5 - 15, 2023 (8 total class days), 8:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
- Transportation will be available for eligible students
- Breakfast and/or snacks will be provided
- Parents will be provided with middle and end of program progress reports on June 8th and June 15th
- The deadline to register your student is April 28, 2023.

Estamos emocionados de anunciar que estamos llevando a cabo nuestro primer campamento de literatura de segundo grado de verano. Este campamento está destinado a estudiantes que necesitan apoyo adicional en alfabetización. Los estudiantes asistentes estarán inmersos en un plan de estudios divertido y atractivo diseñado para ayudarlos a acelerar sus habilidades de alfabetización. - Fechas: Lunes a Jueves, del 5 al 15 de Junio de 2023 (8 días de clase en total), de 8:00 a.m. a 12:15 p.m.
- El transporte estará disponible para los estudiantes elegibles
- Se proporcionará desayuno y/o merienda
- Los padres recibirán informes de progreso de la mitad y el final del programa el 8 y el 15 de Junio
- La fecha límite para registrar a su estudiante es el 28 de Abril de 2023
